Osaka castle - Japan

If you are a tourist and have visited Japan before, Most likely you have come across or visited a Japanese castle, I would like to shows some of the castle around central part of Japan that I have visited before.

Osaka Castle, Located in Osaka in Osaka prefecture, Japan. This castle is a complete reconstruction which completed on 1997. This is a pretty “New castle” but is a very famous tourist spot in Osaka especially during cherry blossom period around the month of April, many local Japanese brought their own blue color canvas during this period and have their party under the cherry trees.

Common features of the Japanese castle are:
1. It is surrounded by river.
2. Big solid wood door at the main entrance.
3. Only one bridge to access the castle.
4. Build on high ground

River and steep stone wall to protect the castle from intruders.

Osaka Castle is located in the Kansai area, which is in the middle part of Japan. Come here by rail using JR west, Osaka loop line and get off at Osakajo koen station, the castle is within walking distance from this station. Visitor are able to gain access to the inside of the castle.
